FIELD: textiles, paper.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to carrier inserts for placement and maintaining biofilm cultures and can be used in wastewater treatment. The carrier insert comprises a three-dimensional network made of staple fibres using a knitting method, nodal points and the connecting points for connection of the network to the structure 1. The network (10) comprises inner textile units (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) connected to each other at nodal points (20, 21, 22, 23) and located between the nodal points (20, 21, 22, 23) and the outer textile units (17, 18) located along the edges (10a) of the network (10). At that the textile units represent a structure consisting of longitudinal and transverse fibres. In the part of nodal points (20, 21, 22, 23) there is an even number of inner textile units (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) directed towards the said nodal points (20, 21, 22, 23). The inner sides (17a, 18a) of each of the outer textile units (17, 18) located along edges (10a) of the network (10) are connected to the nodal point (21, 22, 23). At that the connecting points (24, 25) are located on the outer sides (17b, 18b) of the outer textile units (17, 18).EFFECT: invention enables to simplify the structure and to increase the surface of the biofilm carrier.11 cl, 4 dwg |
