METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BOTH SIDED AND SINGLE SIDED FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD USING FLEXIBLE ALUMINIUM CLAD LAMINATE

Disclosed is a method to manufacture both-sided and single-sided FPCBs by using an FACL. According to the present invention, the method includes a step of forming a via hole on a both-sided flexible aluminium clad laminate (FACL); a step of preprocessing a surface of the FACL on which the via hole is formed; a step of reforming the surface of the FACL by performing displacement plating with at least one type of metal having lower ionization than aluminium; a step of forming a first metal plating layer on the reformed surface by performing primary electroplating in a first metal plating solution, which is alkaline or neutral; and a step of forming a second metal plating layer on the first metal plating layer by performing secondary plating in a second metal plating solution, which is acid. An inner wall of the via hole is gradually plated with a first or second metal by repeating at least one among the primary electroplating and the secondary plating.
