The present invention relates to a method of preparing a purified carbon black in accordance with an embodiment. The invention comprises the step of irradiating microwaves to a mixture comprising an acidic or basic aqueous solution and a crude carbon black. The method of preparing the purified carbon black efficiently provides a purified high-purity carbon black in a short time period. In addition, the purified carbon black is likely to be easily dispersed to rubber and other materials. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a rubber composition for a tire by using the carbon black wherein the rubber composition can achieve improved degree of dispersion and realize a lighter weight.
