FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the functional evaluation of an absorbent hygienic product. What is presented is a method for measuring an amount of moisture in an absorbent hygienic product, particularly a diaper, a liner or a diaper used for incontinence, a panty liner; the hygienic product is pre-filled with moisture, preferentially under certain conditions, and then unfolded flat; a flat extension of the unfolded hygienic product is examined to detect a number of segmented measurement areas; a respective measured value is selected on the respective measurement areas as an amount of fluid contained in the respective measurement area.
