FIELD: packaging industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a metal can for storage of food product sterilised by heat treatment after closing the can, comprising a monoblock body forming a bottom and a side wall of the can, and a lid connected to this body to close it, at that the minimum thickness of the side wall is from 20% to 60% of the thickness of the bottom centre.
