<p>A silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) system including a bypass system using a global positioning system (GPS) is disclosed. The SCR system including a bypass system using the GPS comprises: an SCR reactor which has a front end connected to an exhaust gas discharging facility of a vessel, and includes a catalyst activated by the exhaust gas; a reducing agent supply line connected with a front duct of the SCR reactor to supply a reducing agent to the exhaust gas flowing from the discharging facility towards the SCR reactor; a bypass line connecting the front duct and a rear duct of the SCR reactor with each other in order to allow the exhaust gas flowing from the discharging facility to detour the SCR reactor; a first bypass damper and a second bypass damper installed in both ends of the bypass line and in a position where the front end and the rear end of the SCR reactor meet each other respectively, selectively inducing the flow of the exhaust gas in order to allow the exhaust gas to pass through the SCR reactor or detour the SCR reactor through the bypass line; and a control part controlling a closing and an opening of the first bypass damper and the second bypass damper. The control part receives a sail location information of the vessel from the GPS of the vessel to operate the first bypass damper and the second bypass damper to allow the exhaust to pass through the SCR reactor on an emission control area (ECA) such that the bypass line is closed, and the front duct and the rear duct of the SCR reactor opened.</p> |
