<p>The method involves forming an orifice on the circumference of a female steering tube (3) comprising a radially projecting flange. A section of a male upper tube (1) is inserted into the orifice of the female tube by placing the flange around a portion of the section. The flange of the female tube is welded on the portion of the section of the male tube, that is projected into an inner side of the female tube, where the orifice is formed by making a projection on the circumference of the female tube and by cutting a central portion of the projection. An independent claim is also included for a bicycle frame.</p> |
