PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical device having a fingerprint/scratch preventing structure and a method for manufacturing the electrical device, in order to solve such a problem that conventional UV coating requires an additional process and a surface thereof is smooth in use actually, so that an effect for preventing the occurrence of fingerprints and scratching is poor.SOLUTION: An electrical device has the property of forming irregular recesses and projections on all or part of the surface of a metal part so that fingerprints are not left and scratches do not occur on the surface of the metal part. The electrical device further includes a plated layer formed by plating treatment on a recessed and projecting surface. The plated layer is preferably a semi-bright layer, and the roughness of the recessed and projecting surface is preferably within a range of 0.7-2.5 Ra. Because recesses and projections are formed in a rolling process by which a metal sheet is formed, there is no need for a separate process to form the recesses and projections, and the cost of manufacturing can be reduced. A metal cover includes a metal sheet (10), recessed and projecting portions (20) and a plated layer (30). |
