<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinion gear for a double bearing reel, the pinion gear being improved in rigidity and operational feeling.SOLUTION: A pinion gear 32 of a double bearing reel 10 includes a body 32m, a first support 32a, a second support 32d, a gear 32b, and a neck 32c. The first support 32a is provided at one end of the body 32m. The second support 32d is provided at the other end of the body 32m. The gear 32b is disposed between the first and second supports 32a, 32d spaced apart from the first support 32a. The neck 32c is disposed between the first support 32a and the gear 32b. An outer diameter D1 of the neck 32c is larger than an outer diameter D2 of the second support 32d and smaller than a tooth bottom diameter D3 of the gear 32b.</p> |
