An open water pump comprises an upper housing, a lower housing and an impeller (51). The impeller (51) comprises a central shaft (511) and a vane (512). The vane (512) is divided into an upper section (5121) and a lower section (5122) in an axial direction. A flow guide ring (54) is arranged below the lower housing. A water flow channel between the flow guide ring (54) and the lower housing gradually becomes small from a periphery to a center. Also disclosed is a sink type cleaning machine applying the open water pump. The flow guide ring is arranged in a water inlet position of the open water pump, guides a water flow that enters through a water inlet, and enables the water flow to enter into a lower accommodation cavity (522) in order, thus reducing noise when the vane rotates to draw water. In addition, the water flow goes through an acceleration process before entering the lower accommodation cavity (522), helping form negative pressure and obtaining a good water drawing effect.
