Provided is a method for selecting specific single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) having significant correlation with outbreak of graft-versus-host disease, and predicting risk of the graft-versus-host disease by using the same as a marker. The method for providing information for predicting risk of developing graft-versus-host disease comprises the step of checking whether a 137512698th base of a chromosome 2 corresponds to TT or TG to a gene sample obtained from a human test subject.
