PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for a vehicle, capable of reducing electric wires, attaining miniaturization, and reducing a cost.SOLUTION: A power supply device 1 for a vehicle is arranged between an on-vehicle battery 2 and a load 3. The power supply device 1 for a vehicle includes: a capacitor 6 to be charged by the on-vehicle battery 2; a changeover switch SW9 for changing over a power supply to the load 3 into one of the power output from the on-vehicle battery 2 and power output from the capacitor 6; a first voltage detection circuit 14 and a second voltage detection circuit 7 for respectively detecting the output voltage values V1 and V2 of the on-vehicle battery 2; and a control section 20 for controlling the changeover switch SW9 on the basis of the detected output voltage value. The control section 20 is a body system control device. |
