<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for obtaining a high-refractive-index, low-dispersion optical glass that can accelerate defoaming while suppressing the addition amount of SbO(antimony).SOLUTION: A glass melt has a viscosityη(dPa s) of 100 or less at 1,250°C, and CObubbling is carried out in the molten glass. An optical glass is manufactured through a main melting process including a melting process of melting a glass raw material in a melting tank, a refining process of refining the glass melt, obtained in the melting process, as it is without cooling, and a homogenizing process of agitating and homogenizing the molten glass having been refined in the refining process, and the CObubbling is carried out in one or more of the melting process, refining process, and homogenizing process.</p> |
