<p>Disclosed is a channel code rate allocation method. The method is used in a joint source-channel coding transmission system, wherein source coding is embedded source coding and a rate distortion function thereof is a convex function. The method comprises: based on a convex function characteristic of the rate distortion function of the embedded source coding, determining a maximum value rup that can be reached by a channel coding code rate of a source coding stream; through the maximum value rup that can be reached by the channel coding code rate and a first channel coding set R1, determining a second channel coding set R2; determining a first optimal code rate allocation policy of a channel of the source coding stream in the second channel coding set R2; and based on the first optimal code rate allocation policy, performing channel code rate allocation for the source coding stream. Also disclosed is a channel code rate allocation system. In a preceding manner, the present invention can reduce code rate allocation time and improve image transmission quality.</p> |
