PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformed nail correcting tool that can easily be inserted to the vicinity of a nail root without giving a patient pain in wearing, even if a deformed nail of strong severe deformation and curve or a deformed nail with a nail side edge irregularly shaped, and thereby ensuring a great correction effect and preventing the recurrence of the deformed nail.SOLUTION: A correcting tool is characterized by having a strip-shaped central region 3 to be brought into contact with the top surface of a nail, and an insertion edge area 4 continuously extending from at least one end of the strip-shaped central region and inserted between a side nail plate edge and a side nail wall. When assumed that the direction becoming a nail root side is an upper stream and the direction becoming a nail tip side is a downstream in wearing the correcting tool on the nail, a screw wing-like part having a specific shape and size is formed in the place including the upstream end of the insertion edge area 4, and a hook part for gripping a side nail plate edge of the nail or a side edge of a toe is formed in the downstream from the screw wing-like part of the insertion edge area 4. |
