摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly bio-soluble inorganic fibrous molded refractory article which can develop desired heat resistance even without containing ceramic fibers such as aluminum silicate fibers, alumina powder and silica powder and can be provided at a reduced production cost and a reduced product cost.SOLUTION: The inorganic fibrous molded refractory article is composed of material including: 27 to 63 mass% of bio-soluble inorganic fibers having a dissolution ratio in a physiological saline at 40°C of 1 mass % or more; 27 to 63 mass% of inorganic powder having one or more kinds of needle-like crystal structures selected from wollastonite powder, sepiolite powder and attapulgite powder; and 3 to 18 mass% of a binder. The inorganic fibrous molded refractory article does not include alumina powder and silica powder, and includes 90 mass% or more in total of the bio-soluble inorganic fibers, inorganic powder having the needle-like crystal structure and binder.
