<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient and long life organic electroluminescent element capable of low voltage driving.SOLUTION: A material for organic electroluminescent element includes an anode 110, a luminous layer 130 principally emitting the light via singlet excited state, and a laminated structure of more than two layers of different film composition between a positive electrode and the luminous layer, and includes a first layer formed of an electron-accepting compound having a LUMO level of -9.0 through -4.0 eV, a second layer arranged on the side closer to the luminous layer side than the first layer, and having a carbazolyl group, and a third layer arranged on the side closer to the luminous layer side than the second layer, and having a carbazolyl group different from that of the first layer, where the luminous layer contains an anthracene-based compound.</p> |
