<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnifying observation device which allows for tilting an image capturing unit and which offers, without increasing the size thereof, durability, vibration resistance, and capability to detect an observation angle of the image capturing unit relative to a stage.SOLUTION: A magnifying observation device includes: a first accelerometer which is located on image capturing means, attachment means, or an upper stage lift unit to detect a first tilt angle of an optical axis of the image capturing means with respect to the gravitational acceleration; a second accelerometer which is located on a mounting table, lower stage lift unit, or base to detect a second tilt angle of the mounting table with respect to the gravitational acceleration; a control unit which computes a third tilt angle of the optical axis of the image capturing means relative to the mounting table using the first tilt angle and second tilt angle; and display means which displays the third tilt angle computed by the control unit.</p> |
