<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To image an optical image formed by fluorescent light or phosphorescent light generated by excitation light, with low noise.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an image pickup device imaging an optical image formed by fluorescent light or phosphorescent light generated by excitation light from an excitation light source; and a control section controlling the image pickup device so that an excitation period in which the excitation light source emits excitation light and a detection period in which the image pickup device detects, using photoelectric conversion, fluorescent light or phosphorescent light generated by the excitation light do not overlap with each other.</p> |
