The present disclosure discloses a method and a system for installing an application, relating to the field of communications. The method comprises: acquiring application installation information by a first terminal; acquiring the application installation information from the first terminal by a second terminal; and installing a corresponding application according to the application installation information on the second terminal. The system comprises: a first terminal and a second terminal which comprises an acquiring module and an installing module. The second terminal provided by the present disclosure automatically acquires the application installation information of the application and the application is installed automatically on the second terminal, enhancing convenience in installing an application. |
