A water tank washing machine, comprising a housing body, a draining board (3), water pump (5), and a rotating spray wall (6). The housing body comprises a tank body (1) and a cover board (2), the bottom of the tank body (1) having a recessed draining region (32), the water pump (5) being disposed within said draining region (32), the draining board (3) covering the top of the draining region (32). The rotating spray wall (6) is disposed above the draining board (3), a water outlet hole (621) being disposed on the rotating spray wall (6), the water outlet hole (621) being in communication with a water flow channel in the water pump (5), such that the water in the draining region (32) can be sprayed into the washing space. By means of the draining region (32) covered by the draining board (3), and the water pump (5) disposed within the draining region (32), the water pump (5) is separated from the washing region, and water flowing back to the water pump (5) passes through the filter of the draining board (3), thus improving the working efficiency and service life of the water pump (5).
