Disclosed is a method for recommending information to a user, the method comprising: acquiring an initial keyword of an object viewed by a user, and adding the initial keyword to a candidate recommended information set; executing the following associated expansion steps: one by one acquiring an element from the candidate recommended information set as a keyword, searching for a headword matching the keyword in an associated database, and obtaining all associated words associating with the headword; adding all the obtained associated words to the candidate recommended information set, and filtering the elements in the set according to user preference information; the associated expansion steps can be executed one or more times as required; and outputting to the user all words in the candidate recommended information set except for the initial keyword. The above method helps a user quickly acquire information of interest, without requiring manual inputting and human screening by the user, thus improving the accuracy and efficiency of the user acquiring the content of interests. |
