PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve exfoliation resistance between a diamond film and a tool base body, to improve the rigidity of a cutting edge, and to improve wear resistance, in a diamond-coated cemented carbide alloy cutting tool.SOLUTION: In a diamond-coated cemented carbide alloy cutting tool in which a diamond film is coated on a tool base body which is composed of a tungsten carbide group cemented carbide alloy having Co at 3 to 15 mass%, a total amount of one kind or two kinds of TaC, NbC at 0.1 to 3.0 mass%, and a remaining part constituted of WC, a plurality of protrusions exist on a surface of the tool base body, an upper region of the protrusion is composed of one kind or two kinds of TaC, NbC, and a lower region of the protrusion located below the upper region is composed of WC and Co. |
