The present invention relates to a composition for naturally preventing plant diseases and repelling insects including extracts of Sophora flavescens Solander ex Aiton, Rhus verniciflua, Toxicodendron vernicifluum and pyrolignous acid, neem oil and surfactant as active ingredients and a method for preventing plant diseases and for repelling insects. The composition includes a step of using the composition for crops wherein the composition is eco-friendly and harmless to human body and is a cue for resolving chemical pesticide abuse, thereby providing safe food items and competitive, high quality agricultural products.
