The present invention relates to a lithium transition metal phosphate comprising Fe_2P crystals that are in the form of nanorods, a production method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery produced using the same. According to the present invention, the high-rate characteristics and the low-temperature properties of a lithium secondary battery produced using the lithium transition metal phosphate can be enhanced by providing a lithium transition metal phosphate comprising Fe_2P crystals that are in the form of nanorods. Moreover, the present invention can provide a production method for a lithium transition metal phosphate so the nanorod-shaped Fe_2P crystals are included to have reproducibility, by adjusting the exhaust conditions in a firing step such that the air current direction inside a firing furnace is entirely or partially controlled to be the opposite direction to the travelling direction of firing raw materials. |
