<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid developer that is excellent in an electrophoretic property and fixability, and a liquid developer obtained with the method.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a liquid developer including: a step 1 of fusing and kneading a resin containing polyester, pigment, and a metal salt of a carboxylic acid having 12 or more and 24 or less of carbon atoms, and pulverizing a resulting mixture to obtain toner particles; a step 2 of dispersing the toner particles obtained in the step 1 in an insulating liquid to obtain a toner particle dispersion; and a step 3 of wet-pulverizing the toner particle dispersion obtained in the step 2 to obtain a liquid developer. Also provided is a liquid developer obtained with the method.</p> |
