The present invention relates to the technical field of image processing. Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are an image zooming method and a terminal device, comprising: acquiring a movement displacement ⊿S of the terminal device relative to a holder of the terminal device; acquiring a time ⊿T elapsed when the terminal device moves the displacement ⊿S; determining the zooming ratio of the terminal device according to the displacement ⊿S and the time ⊿T; and zooming an image displayed on a screen of the terminal device according to the zooming ratio. Zooming process for the image displayed on the screen of the terminal device can be more conveniently implemented by the image zooming method provided by the embodiment of the present invention. |
