NANORODS FOR MANUFACTURING METAL INK, METHODS FOR PREPARING THE SAME AND METAL INK CONTAINING THE SAME

The present invention provides a nanorod-type structure which is a nanostructure of a metal ink used in the manufacturing of a transparent electrode and which contains nanoparticles attached on a surface to solve drawbacks of conventional nanoparticles or nanowires. The nanorod may be manufactured to have a desired length range by regulating a molecular weight of a capping agent and may have a uniformly attached structure by cooling slowly at room temperatures after reaction in the process of attaching nanoparticles. The metal ink manufactured from the nanorod does not require a high filling rate to secure conductivity and may be used even in the non-contact printing process. In addition, a contact resistance is improved by increasing a contact surface without disconnection by nanoparticles melted at low temperatures.
