Introduced is a high voltage battery for a vehicle. The battery includes an electrode tap which is divided into the first part of a battery cell and the second part of a terminal part; a pouch which packs the battery cell; a housing which is packed with the battery cell in the pouch and has an opening; a first part extension part and a second part extension part which are connected to the first part and the second part, respectively and are inserted into the opening; and a cushion which is inserted into the housing and pressurizes the first part extension part and the second part extension part for contact.
