A liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal panel comprises a color film substrate and an array substrate that are assembled to form a cell by a frame sealing adhesive doped with golden balls. A gate shift register is provided on a surface, facing the color film substrate, of the array substrate. The gate shift register is provided with a conductive electrode connected to a gate and a source/drain. A common electrode is provided on a surface, facing the array substrate, of the color film substrate. The liquid crystal panel further comprises an insulating layer located between the conductive electrode and the common electrode. A projection of the insulating layer in the surface, facing the color film substrate, of the array substrate covers a projection of the conductive electrode in the surface, facing the color film substrate, of the array substrate. By means of said technical solution, the design on a narrow frame of the liquid crystal panel can be realized. |
