<p>Techniques of mapping gestures to virtual functions are disclosed. In some embodiments, a software application is run on a computing device. The software application may have a first virtual function configured to manipulate a virtual object of the software application in a first predefined way. First image data of a first physical content may be captured using the computing device. A first gesture over the first physical content may be mapped to the first virtual function using the first image data. The virtual object may be displayed over a view of the first physical content on a display screen of the computing device. The first gesture over the first physical content may be detected. The virtual object may be manipulated in the first predefined way in response to detecting the first gesture over the first physical content.</p> |
