Bookmarking content in an electronic device includes determining that user action has been made to share content from an Internet website or social media service and entering a bookmarking operation. The bookmarking operation is automatically triggered by the user action to share the content and the bookmarking operation including conducting a bookmarking function to bookmark the shared content.
