PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load due to a driving force transmitted from a container gear, while improving performance of transferring powder from a powder container to a powder conveyance apparatus.SOLUTION: A powder container includes: a powder inlet arranged in a conveyance tube on which the powder container 32 housing powder for forming an image is mounted to convey the powder, and receiving the powder from the powder container 32; a body-side gear which transmits a driving force to the powder container 32; and a container receiving part which receives the powder container. The powder container includes an opening 33a arranged at one end of a container body 33, a conveyance tube receiving member 330 which is arranged in the opening and receiving the conveyance tube; conveyance means which rotates to convey the powder in the container body to the powder inlet; and a container-side gear 306 which is engaged with the body-side gear. The container-side gear 306 is arranged so as to be engaged with the body-side gear in a position closer to the opening 33a, in a longitudinal direction of the container body, than the powder inlet. The opening 33a is fitted into the container receiving part. |
