The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for increasing a learning effect and a memorization effect of an essay form sentence whereby an expression amount is adjusted in multiple steps as needed and a core keyword is hidden or displayed during a process of learning a paragraph composed of a plurality of sentences. Core contents of the lengthy paragraph are extracted and displayed based on the length step by step; the core contents are selected as needed; and thus learning time is reduced and learning efficiency is increased. Effect of leaning and memorizing the paragraph is increased by initiating a hiding/displaying method with respect to a relevant part in a word unit after appointing a portion of the paragraph a user wants to learn or memorize as a core keyword. According to the method disclosed in the present invention, difficulty of a learning process is reduced while efficiency of learning or memorizing a paragraph and leaning convenience are increased. Therefore, time for achieving a learning target is reduced and learning effect can be increased at the same time. The preset invention also provides a recording medium wherein the disclosed functions are recorded.
