PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for inkjet recording having less reduction of dispersion stability of a pigment even when an ink composition is largely changed such as condensation of the ink at a nozzle tip which easily being caused when applied to a thermal type inkjet recording device though a coloring material is hardly-dispersible pigment dispersion, hardly generating nonejection of ink or printing twisting, capable of achieving good continuous printing performance for long time and forming image having high image concentration and excellent image quality.SOLUTION: There is provided an ink for inkjet recording with hardly-dispersible pigment dispersion used for a thermal type inkjet recording method as a coloring material, containing water, the hardly-dispersible pigment dispersion having acid value of 100 mgKOH/g or less, a surfactant and a water-soluble compound where the surfactant contains a gemini type surfactant having a plurality of hydrophobic chains in a molecule of 0.1 to 2.0 mass% in the ink. |
