PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of codes in a game control program.SOLUTION: In a game machine including a game control unit, the game control unit includes arithmetic processing means of performing arithmetic processing by a game control program, a register, update information storage means of storing information updated by the arithmetic processing means, and update regulation means of regulating update of information stored in the update information storage means. In the update information storage means, information stored by an address is identified. The register includes an upper address designation register for designating an upper address from among addresses. When a predetermined start signal is generated, an update prohibition state is generated by the update regulation means, then the arithmetic processing means starts operating, further the update prohibition state is canceled, and then game control is started by using information stored at an address designated by the upper address designation register. |
