<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that facsimile transmission cannot normally be performed unless a transmission destination is designated according to whether an image forming apparatus corresponds to IP-FAX or to a public telephone network when an information processor gives an instruction of the facsimile transmission to the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: In an information processor which controls a unit that achieves transmission/reception of facsimile and gives an instruction of facsimile transmission and a control method of the information processor, address information which shows a transmission destination of a designated document is specified, and it is determined whether the specified address information includes information on a communication mode or not. When the address information is determined to include the information on the communication mode, a driver which gives the instruction of the facsimile transmission to the unit performs facsimile transmission in accordance with the address information and the communication mode when it corresponds to the communication mode. When the specified address information is determined not to include the information on the communication mode, the driver performs the facsimile transmission in accordance with the corresponding communication mode.</p> |
