<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A/D conversion device which can reduce an area or power consumption in comparison with the conventional art.SOLUTION: An A/D conversion device comprises cyclic sub A/D conversion circuits 10-1-10-N which are cascade connected with each other, a timing control part 3 and a digital signal processing part 4. The cyclic sub A/D conversion circuit 10-n includes a sub A/D converter 3 for A/D converting an output analog voltage Vo to a digital voltage D and a D/A converter 14 for D/A converting a digital voltage D to an analog voltage. The cyclic sub A/D conversion circuit 10-n includes a subtracter 11 for subtracting the analog voltage from the D/A converter from a voltage Vi, and a multiplier 12 for performing multiplication on the subtraction result voltage and outputting an output analog voltage Vo of the multiplication result to the sub A/D converter 13 and the cyclic sub A/D conversion circuit 10-(n+1). The timing control part 3 controls the cyclic sub A/D conversion circuit so as to perform cyclic sub A/D conversion on the voltage Vi to obtain a digital value and output the digital value by cyclically and repeatedly performing processing of the subtracter 11 and the multiplier and processing of the sub A/D converter 13.</p> |
