<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately evaluate rubber chipping-resisting performance with precision close to evaluation of rubber chipping of a tire on the market. <P>SOLUTION: A strike piece of a pendulum provided with the strike piece at an arm tip is struck on the front of a rubber test piece to evaluate the rubber chipping resisting performance from fall energy of the pendulum and a rubber chipping state of the rubber test piece. The rubber test piece has a cut formation region, where a plurality of cuts extending downward from an upper surface at right angles to the direction of an axis (i) are provided at equal intervals in the direction of the axis (i), formed at front upper corner parts of the front and upper surface. The strike piece has a lower corner part where an opposite surface faces the front and a lower surface which faces down during the striking cross each other at an angleθof 60-100°, and the lower corner part is stuck on the front and the cut formation region in and right after perpendicular passage of the arm.
