The present invention relates to a method for a digital modeling of physical terrain which includes the steps of: reading digital terrain model data including raster points having a height coordinate which shows the height value of the raster points; determining the difference of the height values of the raster points which are close to the digital terrain model; storing only the raster points which have different height values from the height values of at least one adjacent raster point as much as a prefixed threshold; and calculating three dimensional B-spline surface area which interpolates the stored raster points.
