The present invention provides a smart water softener wherein cold water is retained in another place until hot water comes out, a temperature sensor checks that hot water comes out, a user is alerted when hot water comes out, and hot water is provided simultaneously so as to prevent a waste of cold water. The smart water softener comprises: a hot softened water container connected to a hot water pipe outside; a cold softened water container connected to a cold water pipe outside; a temperature detection unit for mixing softened hot water and softened cold water each softened by passing through the hot softened water container and the cold softened water container and for detecting a temperature of the mixed softened water; a water faucet detection unit for detecting a position (direction) of a water faucet valve and for detecting a temperature of each valve position which is stored in advance, based on the detected valve position; a temperature matching unit for comparing a softened water temperature detected in the temperature detection unit and a desired temperature detected in the water faucet detection unit and for comparing the softened water temperature and the desired temperature; a mixed softened water container for introducing and keeping the mixed softened water mixed in the temperature detection unit if the softened water temperature is lower than the desired temperature according to the comparison result by the temperature matching unit; an alarm processing unit for issuing an alarm to outside if the softened water temperature is higher than the desired temperature according to the comparison result by the temperature matching unit; and a water discharge unit for discharging the mixed softened water which has passed through the temperature control unit if the softened water temperature is higher than the desired temperature according to the comparison result by the temperature matching unit. |
