According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a control method of a photographing apparatus which comprises the steps of: setting a first area in response to user input; detecting subjects of interest from a live-view image; determining a main subject among a plurality of subjects of interest when the plurality of subjects of interest are detected; and outputting a sound guide in accordance with a location of the main subject area and a location of the first area.
