The present invention relates to a plasma lighting device and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an aspect of the present invention, a plasma lighting device includes a magnetron for generating a microwave; a wave guide which guides the macro wave; and a bulb which is applied with a micro wave transmitted through the wave guide. Additional dose for increasing surfer and color rendition index is sealed in the bulb. The additional dose is at least one selected from group consisting of metal bromide and iodide.
