An antenna (34) of a communication terminal is disposed on the lower surface side of a reflective plate (71) that constitutes a display (32). When the reflective plate (71) is illuminated by an LED light source (82), the antenna (34) becomes invisible from the display screen (surface on the +Z side) side of the display (32). Consequently, it becomes unnecessary to form an antenna coil (62) that constitutes the antenna (34) using a transparent electrode, and thus it becomes possible to form the antenna coil using various materials with high conductivity. Accordingly, the antenna (34) with high sensitivity can be manufactured at low cost, thereby enabling good short-distance communication with an external device (90) located on the display screen side of the display (32).
