The present invention relates to a composition comprising an Acer barbinerve bark extract for treating pain and, more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition comprising an Acer barbinerve bark extract for an analgesic related to acute and chronic pain or medicine for neuropathic pain, and a health food. An Acer barbinerve bark extract of the present invention can represent pain relieving effects through various pain index tests such as the writhing inhibition test, the formalin pain test, the tail-flick test, the hot-plate test, etc., thus can be effectively used as an active ingredient of a composition for an analgesic related to acute and chronic pain or medicine for neuropathic pain. |
