<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine which efficiently cools a coil without affecting the rotary electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: A coil 50 has: multiple coil bars 25 respectively inserted into multiple slots 23 of a stator core 21 and extending in a substantially linear manner; and multiple connect coils 40, each of which is disposed at a base plate 31 and connects the same phase coil bars 25 with each other to from a passage part.
