<p>An energy storage apparatus for urban railways using a bidirectional DC to DC converter (20a, 20b, 20c) increases charge and discharge efficiency through design of a controller (32) taking into consideration operation of associated devices and increases economic efficiency and use convenience through change or addition of a minimal configuration for energy storage capacity variation or increase. It is possible to easily add a storage unit (28a, 28b, 28c) including supercapacitors in the form of a box module as capacity increases or changes and it is also possible to achieve accurate and efficient charging and discharging of the storage unit (28a, 28b, 28c) through various sensors (16, 18) and signal checks (30a, 30b, 30c, 32).</p> |
