The present invention relates to a system for managing heat of a fuel cell vehicle. The object of the present invention is to provide a system and a method for managing heat of a fuel cell vehicle capable of reducing a entrance frequency of a high temperature current restriction mode by increasing a flow rate and the heat radiation amount of a coolant in a radiator. To accomplish the object, the system of the present invention comprises: the radiator for emitting heat, produced in a fuel cell stack, outside through the coolant; a water pump for circulating the coolant; an ion filter installed in a branched line, which is branched from a coolant circulation line connecting the fuel cell stack and the radiator, and passing the coolant; a condition detecting portion for detecting coolant condition information; a flow control valve installed to selectively block a flow of the coolant to the ion filter; and a control portion for controlling an operation of the flow control valve in accordance with the coolant condition information which is detected by the condition detecting portion. |
