Provided are a method and a system to manage electric energy of a heater. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the energy management method is capable of measuring the efficiency of electric energy by executing trial operation on a heater, and controlling the operation based on the measured efficiency when the heater is operated. Thus, the efficiency of the electric energy of the heater is measured in advance through the trial operation, and an operation time is automatically limited based on the measurement in order to reduce energy consumption at peak-hour.
