PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet post-processing device that can prevent deterioration in alignment when paper sheets aligned and stacked on a placing plate having a reference plane is shifted to a staple unit.SOLUTION: Prior to shift movement of a shift mechanism, paper sheets aligned by a discharge roller 40 are moved in a direction away from a reference plane 22 by the discharge roller 40; during shift movement by the shift mechanism, after tip portions of the paper sheets in the movement direction pass through a notch provided on the reference plane 22, the discharge roller 40 is reversely rotated in a direction of moving the aligned paper sheets toward the reference plane 22, with clamping of the discharge roller 40 released. |
